This Privacy Policy applies to Framely, a digital photo frame application for Android developed by Adrián Garrido Pazos. Framely connects to your own self-hosted Immich server and displays your photos full-screen with configurable transitions, a clock/date overlay, and live local weather.
Framely stores the following data exclusively on your device using Android's private DataStore — it is never transmitted to the developer or any third-party server:
Framely requests approximate location permission (ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION) solely to display the current temperature and weather condition via the public Open-Meteo API. Your approximate coordinates are sent directly to Open-Meteo and are not stored or shared with any other party. This permission is optional — if denied, the weather overlay is simply not shown and the app continues to work normally.
For more information on how Open-Meteo handles data, please visit: open-meteo.com/en/terms.
Photos are fetched directly from your Immich server. They are never permanently stored on the device beyond the temporary image cache managed by the operating system. Framely blocks screenshots and screen recording to protect your content.
Framely does not include any analytics, advertising, or social media SDKs. We do not collect, sell, or share any personal data. There are no ads and no telemetry of any kind.
No personal data is shared with third parties. The only external network connections Framely makes are:
